Smartway Pet Supplies started the same way a lot of good businesses start: with a problem I kept running into as a pet owner.
I’m Andrew Davies, and two years ago I launched Smartway because I was tired of how hard it was to buy flea, tick, and worming treatments with confidence. Stock was hit-and-miss, pricing was all over the place, product info was often unclear, and if something went wrong, getting help could feel impossible.
So I built the kind of store I personally wanted to shop from—simple, reliable, and focused on the essentials.
Why I Care So Much About This
I’m not “in the pet industry” because it sounded like a good niche. I’m in it because I’m a dog owner, every day.
I’ve got four dogs:
