Canine Allwormer Tablets for Dogs up to 20 kg
Canine Allwormer is a broad-spectrum intestinal worm treatment designed specifically for dogs weighing up to 20 kg. It provides effective control against all 11 major intestinal worms that commonly affect dogs, including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, tapeworm and hydatid tapeworm. This makes it a solid core component of your dog’s regular parasite control program, especially if you’re looking for a reliable, good-value option without paying a premium for big-brand packaging.

What Canine Allwormer Protects Against
Canine Allwormer targets the key intestinal worms known to cause health issues in dogs. These include: roundworms (which can cause a pot-bellied appearance, poor growth and digestive upset), hookworms (which can lead to blood loss, anaemia and weakness), whipworms (often causing chronic diarrhoea and weight loss), common tapeworm species, and hydatid tapeworm (which can be a serious concern in dogs that have access to raw offal or wildlife carcasses). By covering all of these, Canine Allwormer helps support your dog’s digestive health, nutrient absorption and overall condition.

Active Ingredients (per 20 kg tablet)
Each tablet is formulated with three proven actives that work in combination:

  • Praziquantel 100 mg – effective against tapeworms, including hydatid tapeworm

  • Pyrantel Embonate 286 mg – targets and controls roundworms and hookworms

  • Oxantel Embonate 1084 mg – extends coverage to whipworms and other intestinal nematodes

Together, these actives disrupt the worms’ nervous and muscular systems, leading to paralysis and death of the parasites so they can be expelled from your dog’s body.

Who This Product Is For
Canine Allwormer 20 kg tablets are suitable for:

  • Puppies from 2 weeks of age (dose strictly according to bodyweight)

  • Adult dogs up to 20 kg

  • Senior dogs, including those with a more sedentary lifestyle

  • Working dogs and greyhounds, where ongoing parasite control is essential

Because the tablets are scored in half, they can be split to accurately dose dogs in between tablet sizes, which is especially useful in multi-dog households with different weights.

Key Benefits

  • Broad-spectrum coverage against all 11 major intestinal worms in dogs

  • Suitable for young puppies from 2 weeks of age, making it easy to start worming early

  • Safe for use in pregnant and lactating bitches when administered as directed

  • Appropriate for working dogs, greyhounds and older dogs

  • Can be given alongside most flea and tick treatments (check with your veterinarian if your dog is on other prescription medications)

  • Scored tablet for flexible dosing in dogs that don’t fit exact weight brackets

  • Cost-effective choice for regular, long-term intestinal worm control

  • Clearly labelled 20 kg dose size to help avoid under- or overdosing when used correctly

Dosage and Administration
For the 20 kg tablet strength, the standard dose rate is:

  • 1 tablet for dogs weighing up to 20 kg (44 lb) bodyweight

  • For dogs under 20 kg, the tablet can be split along the score line to provide an appropriate dose, as advised by your vet

Tablets can be given directly by mouth or hidden in a small amount of food if your dog is reluctant to take tablets. Ensure that each dog receives the full required dose. If you are dosing multiple dogs, supervise to make sure one dog does not consume another’s tablet portion.

Worming Schedule
For most adult dogs in typical household environments, Canine Allwormer is administered:

  • Once every 3 months (four times per year) for routine intestinal worm control, or

  • As otherwise directed by your veterinarian for dogs at higher risk of reinfection

Puppies usually require more frequent treatment (for example, every 2 weeks initially, then monthly) before moving to the standard 3-monthly schedule. Always follow the specific program recommended by your vet based on your puppy’s age and environment.

Use with Other Parasite Treatments
Canine Allwormer is designed to control intestinal worms only. It does not provide protection against external parasites such as fleas, ticks or mites, and it does not protect against heartworm. You can generally use this product alongside separate flea and tick preventives, as well as a dedicated heartworm preventive, provided your veterinarian has confirmed that these combinations are appropriate for your dog.

Important Heartworm Information
This product does not prevent heartworm infection. Heartworm is spread by mosquitoes and affects the heart and lungs, so prevention is managed with different types of medications (often monthly tablets, chews or yearly injections prescribed by your vet). If you live in or travel to a heartworm risk area, speak to your veterinarian about starting or maintaining a proper heartworm prevention program in addition to using Canine Allwormer for intestinal worms.

Safety and Precautions

  • For dogs only; do not use in other animal species

  • Always weigh your dog accurately before dosing to ensure the correct number of tablets is given

  • Follow your vet’s advice for very young, elderly, pregnant, lactating or medically compromised dogs

  • If your dog is on other medications or has a history of serious illness, ask your vet before starting any new deworming product

  • After dosing, monitor your dog and contact your vet if you notice ongoing vomiting, severe diarrhoea or any unusual signs

Mild, short-lived digestive upset can sometimes occur after worming as the parasites are expelled, but persistent or severe symptoms should always be assessed by a professional.

General Worm Control Tips
To get the most from any intestinal worm treatment:

  • Pick up and dispose of dog faeces promptly from yards and public areas to reduce environmental contamination

  • Avoid allowing dogs to eat raw offal or carcasses, which can increase the risk of hydatid tapeworm and other parasites

  • Maintain regular worming intervals as recommended for your region and lifestyle

  • Keep good records of when each dose is given so you do not accidentally miss a treatment

Used as part of a consistent parasite control plan, Canine Allwormer 20 kg tablets help keep your dog protected from the most common intestinal worms they encounter.
