Advantix for Extra Large Dogs Over 25kg - Blue
Advantix offers a potent solution for extra-large dogs, effectively repelling and eliminating a broad range of parasites, including fleas, ticks (paralysis, bush, and brown dog ticks), mosquitoes, sandflies, stable flies, and lice. Formulated for dogs 7 weeks and older, including different breeds and those that are pregnant or lactating, Advantix provides a comprehensive approach to parasite control with its dual active ingredients, imidacloprid and permethrin.
Key Benefits:
- Broad-Spectrum Protection: Offers defense against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, sandflies, stable flies, and lice.
- Immediate Impact: Kills fleas and ticks within two hours of application, and re-infesting fleas in 3 to 5 minutes after re-infestation, with adult fleas killed within 1 hour.
- Prevents Disease: By repelling and killing parasites, it reduces the risk of allergic reactions, dermatitis, secondary bacterial infections, and the transmission of disease.
- Water-Resistant Formula: Remains effective even after your dog is exposed to water (see product label for full details).
- Safe for Use: Suitable for different breeds, as well as pregnant and lactating dogs.
Active Ingredients:
- Imidacloprid: Targets and kills fleas, preventing them from laying eggs.
- Permethrin: Eradicates ticks by acting on their nervous system and blocking sodium channels.
How to Apply:
- Preparation: Start by removing the pipette from its packaging.
- Opening: Hold the applicator tube upright and twist the cap to break the seal.
- Application: Part your dog's fur between the shoulder blades to expose the skin and apply the entire contents of the pipette directly to the skin.
- Frequency: For paralysis tick control, apply fortnightly, and for flea, lice, and other tick protection, apply monthly.
Important Considerations:
- Advantix is specially designed for dogs and should not be used on cats due to the risk of adverse reactions.
- Always consult with your veterinarian before starting any new treatment to ensure it's appropriate for your dog's health condition and lifestyle.
- Check the specific dosing and application instructions for your dog's weight category and follow them closely to ensure effective protection.
Advantix stands out as a convenient, long-lasting solution for keeping your extra-large dog safe from parasites, ensuring they stay healthy and comfortable throughout the year.
